  • Specially trained nurses answer questions about health topics and procedures, identify symptoms, and help you decide when to see a health professional. Information and referrals are also provided to other services.

  • The nurse will ask for your Personal Health Number on your B.C. CareCard; you will not be denied service if you do not provide it.

Reaching your family doctor after hours:
  • For emergencies that cannot wait until the office is next open, please call our office at (604) 859 6774 and ask to speak to the doctor on call.
  • The four doctors at Windermere Family Practice share the responsibility of covering your after hours questions as an unpaid service to our patients. We ask that you respect our time with our families and only contact us for urgent problems that cannot wait until the next business day. However, we are happy to take your calls regarding urgent medical issues.
